Mental health wasn't given same kudos as covid treatment; we have only used the covid data, not other data, while people desperately need mental support
People's mental health (children & adults) is impacted. It will be years post pandemic to establish the extent. In Dundee, CMHTs & Psychological Therapies moved to phone appts. They didn't offer video consulting (Attend Anywhere/Near Me). It's use has been patchy across Scotland. Third Sector MH networks (Dundee Healthy Minds Network) and organisations have made significant efforts to mitigate the impact on the mental health community by swiftly moving to sustained virtual engagement and support
