Funding to help with unexpected but necessary costs to help get you back on track.
Residents can apply for grants to support things like: purchase of tools, equipment or uniforms for a job or school; Job licence fees; transport to a new job until your first pay slip; transport to school for a term; minor home repairs; essential household items etc. 6-8 week application and peer assessment process. Once approved, grants are paid directly to an organisation - not in cash to the applicant, and not for things already paid for.
